What This App Does
Conditional formatting, for the calendar you already have.
Paint every event that starts with [URGENT] red. Outline the day when the first line of the
notes says “Trip”. Tint weekends and holidays. It is the same idea as a spreadsheet’s
conditional formatting, applied to a month calendar.

Calendar Cells only reads the events already in the Calendar app. No account, no re-typing.
Write a rule and the events you already have start to look different.
WHAT A RULE CAN MATCH
The title, the first line of the notes, or the last line: contains, begins with, ends with,
or exactly. Include or exclude. Specific calendars. All-day or timed. Single-day only.
Rules can match the day itself, so weekdays, holidays, today and this week work too, even on
days with no events. A rule can also be built from whether the other rules matched.
WHAT A RULE CAN CHANGE
Day fill (light, medium, strong), border, the mark around the date, text color. Events show
as a dot or as a title, with a leading bar or dot and an optional start time.
Rules apply from the top down, and the first match wins for each attribute. Leave an
attribute as None and a later rule decides it, so rules stack.
VIEWS
A view is a set of calendars plus a set of rules, under a name. Keep as many as you like
(Work, Home, Home and Work) and switch with one tap. The more calendars you juggle, the
more this pays off.
ALSO
Weekend and holiday coloring lives in shared settings that any view can use. Holiday
calendars are found by name. Each view picks its own first day of the week. Views sync
across your devices through iCloud.
