What This App Does
Launchan is an app for launching folders and applications listed in a CSV file that you prepare yourself.
Useful If
It is meant for slightly messy real-world setups like these.
- Files are scattered across file servers and you want to find them with your own keywords
- You have many project files on hand and want to search by project name
- You have many different hosts, databases, or URLs depending on the environment and want to switch between them easily
Small Details
- You can search in the input field and launch items mostly with Enter and arrow keys, so you do not have to rely much on the mouse
- In the CSV file, you can specify a folder, a URL, or a command with arguments, along with a title and search keywords
- For Excel files, you can choose to open them as read-only or in a separate session
