Remind Me At ...
Remind me "Where?", "When?"
1. What Does This App Do?
This app is a simple tool for adding TODOs to the iPhone’s “Reminders” app.
The app focuses on letting you register reminders with specific alarm “location” or “time”.
TODO: Add a screenshot of the input screen
It’s all about focusing on “When,” “Where,” and “What to do”!
I created this app to minimize unnecessary screen operations for people like me, who tend to forget what they were going to write down the moment the input screen opens—a true goldfish memory.
2. Are You Making Full Use of “Location” and “Time” Notifications in Reminders?
Quick question: Are you utilizing the notification features of the built-in iPhone “Reminders” app?
You might fall into one of these categories:
“I didn’t even know that feature existed.”
“I know about it, but setting it up each time is a hassle, so I forget to use it.”
Reminders allow you to set notifications based on “location” and “time,” which can be surprisingly handy.
Examples of Using Location-Based Reminders:
- Pull up your shopping list when you arrive at the nearest station.
- Prevents you from saying, “I planned to shop on my way home, but I’ve already arrived back at the house...”
- Show a list of items to buy as soon as you reach the pharmacy.
- If you’ve ever thought, “What was I here to buy again?” this will save you.
Examples of Using Time-Based Reminders:
- Get notified just before tomorrow’s workday begins.
- Because you’re likely to forget until then.
- Set a reminder for things you want to remember around the time you head home.
- Because you’re likely to forget until then.
